HKU students and alumni showcased their talent at the Happy Park Fest. Performing groups are (in alphabetical order):
Astréas
An expressive arts society with four major departments – Dance, Theatre, Fine arts & Literature, and Music. An inclusive performing arts society for international and local students alike. On Alumni Day, Astréas Dance Department brings to you an electrifying performance of jazz funk, afro, bollywood and heels.

HKU Brighten Music 明我以德

HKU Karatedo Alumni Association Limited 香港大學空手道舊生會
“Have you ever wondered what exactly Karate-do is but could not find a good way to figure it out? After eight years, the University of Hong Kong Karate Demonstration will once again take place at Happy Park. The performance will feature karate basic techniques, kata (form), kumite (sparring), and board breaking. A group of alumni and their children will perform together. See you there!”

UPO Brass Ensemble
The University Philharmonic Orchestra, Cultural Association, The University of Hong Kong (UPO, CA, HKU) was founded in 1999 by a group of devoted HKU students. The student-led orchestra aims to promote orchestral playing, develop students’ interests in Western music and encourage music appreciation in both HKU and the community-at-large.
The brass ensemble is formed by enthusiastic members of the Orchestra who enjoy creating ensemble music. The ensemble has performed on various occasions, including formal concerts and busking.
