Opened in 2020, the Institute for Advanced Dentistry – Multi-Specialty Clinic represents a major initiative of the HKU Faculty of Dentistry. As a postgraduate training centre, it aims to provide facilities to educate and train dental specialists and to deliver oral healthcare to patients with severe and complex oral conditions. IAD-MSC is equipped with 45 dental chairs, six day-surgery rooms, monitored anaesthesia care, a dental technology laboratory, and is fitted with current technologies.
