Calling all HKU alumni & friends! We need your support to continue making a difference in nurturing leaders of tomorrow.
As alumni, you have experienced the transformative power of education. With your donation, you help ensure that the next generation of students has the same opportunities that you did.
Every contribution, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated and goes a long way in shaping the future of our alma mater. Let’s show the world what it means to be a proud HKU alumni. Join us in giving back today!
Award-winning independent singer-songwriter Serrini Leung 梁嘉茵 (MA 2015; PhD 2021) has strong ties with HKU. As a scholarship recipient, Serrini believes in the idea of pay it forward and established a scholarship to support fellow students in the Faculty of Arts.
She hopes the scholarship could encourage the students to study and experience more, allowing them the capacity to expand their ambitions.
Pass the torch on in supporting the next generation.
The Fund supports different initiatives namely, Entrance Scholarships to attract talents and free them from financial difficulties; Enrichment Scholarships to broaden students’ horizons; and Merit-based Scholarships to encourage students to pursue academic excellence.
Severe diseases of the mouth and jaws like cancer, inflamed gums, tooth decay, crooked teeth, and deformed faces can impact overall quality-of-life, job prospects, and education. For those of us who suffer from deformed facial features, chronic tooth and jaw pain, headaches, and bleeding gums, something as simple as smiling becomes a real challenge and can lead to self-confidence issues, reclusiveness, and even suicidal tendencies. For the underserved members of our community, getting the advanced care they need can make a world of difference, yet access to advanced dental care is out of reach for many. SmilesForAll aims to serve Hong Kong’s underprivileged with advanced multidisciplinary dental care.
Your generosity will enable us to enhance scholarships, fund groundbreaking research, and expand innovative programmes that empower our students to excel in their chosen fields.
Share the joy of giving today!
